Drugs smuggling bid foiled, six held with 90kg hashish, 3 bikes impounded

SIBI: The Sibi Police have foiled drugs smuggling bid, arrested six drug pushers including three women, recovered 90 kilogram hashish and impounded three motorcycles.

On a tip-off regarding drugs smuggling on motorcycles, SHO Saddar Sibi Maqsood Sailachi, Additional SHO Mir Qasim Gishkori along with their teams started snap checking at National Highway.

During search of three motorcyclists with a woman each, 30 kilogram hashish was recovered from each motorcycle riders.

The police arrested the drug pushers including Gul Hassan s/o Asad Khan, his wife, Muhammad Nawaz s/ Kamal Khan, wife of Panah, Ali Dost s/o Muhammad Qaqool and wife of Muhammad Ashraf during the action.

The recovered drugs were being smuggled from Quetta to inner Sindh but timely action foiled the bid.

The police impounded the motorcycles, confiscated the recovered 90 kilogram hashish and after registering a case against the detainees started investigations. Further important revelations from nabbed drug pushers and more arrests were expected.

SSP Sibi Mir Dostain Dashti has announced cash prizes and commendation certificates for the police teams which participated in the operation.
