Islamabad: In a scathing indictment, the All Pakistan Private Schools and Colleges Association has accused the Federal Education Board of perpetrating a “massive fraud” on the nation’s students, citing widespread irregularities in the annual intermediate exam results.
Dr. Malik Abrar Hussain, the association’s central president, launched a blistering attack on the board’s “inept” officials, blaming them for “destroying” the examination system and “playing with the future” of millions of students.
The association claims that the board’s reliance on e-marking has led to thousands of students being unfairly failed or awarded low grades, sparking a wave of protests across the country.
“We will not stand idly by while the education system is dismantled by incompetent officials,” Dr. Hussain declared, vowing to support the protesting students in their demands for justice.
As the crisis deepens, the government is facing mounting pressure to intervene and restore public trust in the examination system. The association has called for an immediate return to manual marking and a thorough investigation into the alleged irregularities.
With the education system teetering on the brink of collapse, one thing is clear: the future of Pakistan’s students hangs in the balance. Will the government act to address this crisis, or will the damage be irreparable? Only time will tell.
