At least eight members of a family including children were hospitalized due to consuming toxic food here on Thursday.

Rescue sources said that a family hailing from Wahdat Colony of Gujranwala consumed food which turned toxic to unknown reasons, INP news agency reported.
Due to consuming contaminated food, condition of eight members of the family including a couple and their six children deteriorated. The affectees were rushed to Civil Hospital Gujranwala in critical condition.
