QUETTA: Security forces have gunned down eight India-sponsored terrorists in successful intelligence-based operations (IBO) carried out in Kalat district of Balochistan.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday, the operations were launched on the credible intel regarding the presence of terrorists belonging to the group “Fitna-e-Hindustan.”
During the operations, security personnel zeroed in on the terrorists’ hideout and a heavy exchange of fire took place. As a result, eight terrorists were sent to hell, ISPR reported.
A large cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosive material was also recovered from the site. The killed terrorists were reportedly involved in multiple terror-related activities in the region.
The ISPR added that Pakistan’s security forces remain fully committed to rooting out Indian-sponsored terrorism from the country. “Those involved in promoting or facilitating such acts will be brought to justice,” the statement read.
The armed forces reaffirmed their resolve to safeguard Pakistan’s sovereignty and ensure peace at all costs.
