PESHAWAR: Eleven drug peddlers were held by Capital City Police Peshawar and recovered ice drug and several bottles liquor during operation in the provincial capital.
According to details, DSP Town Mukhtiar Ali Khan received an intelligence tip-off after which he constituted a police team under the supervision of SHO Tehkal Shehryar Ahmed which conducted a raid in Di’Mano Plaza University Road Peshawar. Eleven outlaws were detained.
During operation, nine drug pushers including Adnan, Khan Gul, Syed Ali, Hamid, Saifullah, Wakeel, Hamid Ali, Zarwali, Hussain Shah and Mehrajuddin hailing from Bihari Colony were apprehended with ice (heroin) worth thousands of rupees and nine bottles liquor.
The police confiscated the recovered drugs and after registering a case against the detainees have started investigation.
