LAHORE: Entire government of PTI is engaged in saving sugar, flour mafia as all mafia dons are active part of the party, said Syed Hassan Murtaza, Parliamentary Leader of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) in Punjab Assembly.
While responding to Punjab information minister, Hassan Murtaza on Thursday said that rental spokespersons like Firdous Ashiq Awan and Fayazul Hassan Chohan can no longer save the mafia.
He alleged that Jahangir Tareen is sugar Don while Fayazul Hassan Chohan is his spokesperson.
The government is stealing money from public’s pocket through artificially creating different crises, previously it has facilitated the mafia to rob the nation through exporting, now it has decided to import wheat in March to benefit again its cronies, it is an ample evidence of the corruption, he accused.
The PPP Parliamentary Leader in Provincial Assembly further stated that the incumbent government is only focusing on making money through corrupt practices.
Now, neither Don of sugar mafia, nor his guardian Niazi can escape, he maintained.
The time has come now to hold Bani Gala gang accountable for all its corruption and theft, this gang of thugs have made it habitual to hide its incompetency and failure by using foul language against opposition, he added.
