NEW DELHI: Hasnain Masoodi, National Conference Member Parliament, from Jammu Kashmir has taken up incidents of civilian killings at Hyderpora, Rambagh, Lawaypora, Wachi, Shopian and Islamabad in Indian Parliament.
He asked Indian authorities to probe the matter and expedite the process as victim families were waiting for detailed investigation of the brutal killings.
In a statement issued by National Conference in New Delhi Masoodi asked the Indian government whether the Tribal Advisory Councils had been set up in Jammu and Kashmir to help the tribal people to be part of development.
It said that he asked the government to revoke its “unilateral” and “unconstitutional” decisions of 5 August 2019. The NC statement said that he also empathized with the Nagaland massacre victims in the Parliament.
It said that Masoodi expressed deep condolences with the victims of the Nagaland massacre and assured them that 1.25 crore people of J&K understood their pain as they were going through the same pain.
