PAKPATTAN: In an egregious incident in central Punjab, a man was brutally tortured and his ears were chopped off over personal enmity on Saturday.
Police said that the incident took place in suburbs of the main town of Pakpattan where influential culprits who were in old dispute with a villager shut him in the room of a house, brutally tortured him and chopped off his ears with a sharp-edged knife.

The victim was rushed to hospital in critical condition and the police after registering a case into the incident have started raids to arrest the culprits. (INP)
