FAISALABAD: Two suspected robbers were killed during crossfire with the police in Tandlianwala area of Faisalabad on Friday.
A police team signalled four suspected people to stop checking near chak no 615 GB. The suspects however opened fire at policemen. Both sides exchanged fire with each other as a result two suspects were killed while two others managed to flee from the crime scene. The deceased were later identified as Shahid and Ahsaan, who were wanted by the local police in several cases.
Police seized two motorcycles and illegal weapons from the spot. Police claimed that the seized motorcycles were earlier snatched from citizens. The bodies were shifted for autopsy and a case was registered.
