PESHAWAR: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has established the first-ever police station in Wana, district headquarters of South Waziristan in the former tribal areas newly merged in the province.
The Frontier Corps has vacated Wana Fort and handed it over to the police department for establishing police station. Meanwhile, similar police stations will also be established in other areas of tribal districts shortly.

Establishing of police stations in the tribal district will not only help to control crimes there but will also ensure peace in said areas. (INP)
