LAHORE: First phase of the coronavirus testing of national cricketers for the upcoming tour of England will be carried out on June 22, PCB officials said on Thursday.
The officials said that the test was first scheduled for June 20 but it has now been shifted to a new date. They added that the test will be carried out in Lahore, Karachi and Peshawar.
The sources also shared that it has been recommended to the PCB that the second phase of the corona testing be done on June 25 before the team departs for England.
However, the date for the team’s departure has not been finalized as of yet but sources said that the players may depart on June 28. They added that the final shape of the series between England and Pakistan will be finalised tomorrow after a meeting between both the board officials.
