Foreign, local funds of PTI are all legal and on record, says PM Imran

The Premier in a statement said that if he had any fear, he would not have called for an open hearing of the foreign funding case.

He challenged the opposition to come forward and settle the matter once and for all.

Imran Khan reiterated his challenge and called for an open hearing of the foreign funding case.

He said that the opposition cannot give an account and record of their funding. The reason for the six-year delay in the foreign funding case was something else, he added.

Imran Khan said that the former election commissioner was against PTI. In the past, the Election Commission was proceeding with malice but PTI has confidence in the current Election Commission.

The Prime Minister said that the accusations of funding from India and Israel would soon be put to rest.

Talking about the Broadsheet scandal, he said that PTI government has nothing to do with the matter. Had Pakistan not paid the fine, we would’ve been fined GBP 5000 per day, he added.

The PM said that the agreement was signed by Pervez Musharraf after which Broadsheet traced Nawaz Sharif’s assets worth USD 800 million.
