ISLAMABAD: Former President of Pakistan and co-chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Parliamentarians Asif Ali Zardari felicitated and dedicated a message to the nation on the eve of Independence Day.
In a statement, He said that the ideology behind creating Pakistan was to establish a free state for Muslims which believed in the power of the masses and democracy which are both necessary for an independent nation.
He said that Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto endorsed this philosophy and helped it grow by gifting us the Constitution.
Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto dedicated her whole life towards strengthening the nation by staying true to the ideology of the country and believing that the true power lies within the masses.
PPP has given many sacrifices, of both the Party workers and the leadership for the cause of freedom and democracy, he said.
Former President said that there are some anti-democratic powers are conspiring against the country but all their efforts will be in vain as the people of the country all always ready to protect it fearlessly.(INP)
