GUJRANWALA: The Anti Human Trafficking Circle of Federal Investigation Agency’s (FIA) arrested four human traffickers allegedly involved in human smuggling during separate actions in two cities of Punjab.
A spokesperson of FIA said on Wednesday, the operations were conducted against human smugglers in Gujranwala and Gujrat while the nabbed suspects included Ali Waqas, Latif Ehtisham, Saleem Akhtar and Tanveer Iqbal.
He said that the detainees used to send citizens abroad on fake documents by receiving huge sum of money.
The detainees have looted millions of rupees from citizens on the pretense of employment abroad.
The FIA spokesperson said that the nabbed suspects were being interrogated after registering separate cases against them while raids were being conducted to arrest their other accomplices.
