ISLAMABAD: Four new fatalities of COVID-19 confirmed in Sindh, Punjab and Gilgit Baltistan took the nation-wide toll to 19, while the figure of confirmed infection jumped to 1,670.
Provincial Health Department of Sindh has confirmed two more coronavirus deaths in the province that took th figure in Sindh to 5.
National Health authorities, after confirmigfour new deaths, have given a break up of total deaths in the country at 1,00 om on March 30, 2020 which is as 19 country-wide deaths with Punjab 6, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 5, Sindh 5, Gilgit-Baltistan 2 and Balochistan 1.
Sindh’s first coronavirus death was also reported in Karachi. The patient was a 77-year-old male who also had cancer.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa also confirmed a new death in Abbottabad that took the provincial death toll to 5. the victim was hailing from Tableegi Jamat and his family were put under quarantine. The family members of the victim are without tests and no government functionary came to take the tests of the family members.

According to figure released at 2,00 pm Sunday, the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Pakistan rose to 1,670 after new cases were reported across the country.
Total confirmed cases 1,670, Punjab 638, Sindh 508, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa 195, Balochistan 144, Islamabad Capital Territory 51, Gilgit-Baltistan 128 and AJK 6.
