QUETTA: Provincial Election Commissioner, Balochistan has released the final list of four candidates contesting the by-elections, to be held on September 12, on the vacant seat of the Senate from Balochistan.
The seat fell vacant after the death of the National Party’s (NP) founder Mir Hasil Khan Bizenjo on Aug 20.
Balochistan Awami Party’s Mohammad Khalid Bizenjo, JUI-F’s Ghousullah, Balochistan National Party’s Mohammad Ali and independent Munir Ahmad Baloch are among the candidates.
Polling for the Senate seat will be held in the Balochistan Assembly from 9:00am to 4:00pm on September 12. The successful candidate will remain senator till March 2021.
