Gamblers among 21 outlaws held, arms, wine, cash recovered in Capital

ISLAMABAD:The Islamabad Police arrested 21 outlaws including nine gamblers, recovered arms, wine, cash and gambling tools during separate actions in different areas of the federal capital on Monday.

On a tip off, Superintendent of Police (Saddar) Malik Naeem Iqbal constituted special team under supervision of SHO Tarnol and ASI Rana Muhammad Salaeem along with others to raid at a gambling den. This team raided there and nabbed nine gamblers identified as Payanda Khan, Nadeem Ahmed, Haider, Tahir, Imran, Shafqat, Ilyas, Shakeel and Ayub. Stake money, CPU, and gambling tools were also recovered during the operation.

The Tarnol police arrested two accused Umer Tariq and Shahid Mehmood allegedly involved in child abuse case.An accused Younas was arrested by Bani Gala police after recovery of 32 bore pistol and ammunition from his possession while people were detained for involvement in illegal construction.

The Crime Investigation Agency (CIA) of Islamabad police arrested Maqbool and recovered one 30 bore pistol from him. Ramana police arrested accused Munwar and recovered 9mm pistol from him.The Industrial-Area police arrested Saeed and recovered one 30 pistols from his possession. Sihala police arrested accused Ghulam Nabi and recovered one 30 bore pistol along with ammunition from him.

The Karachi company police arrested accused Maqbool Massaih and recovered 10 liter wine from him.The recovered weapons, ammunition, wine, cash and gambling tools were confiscated and the police after registering separate cases against the detainees at concerned police station started investigation(INP)
