GAZA: Thousands of children in Gaza have lost their families and homes due to Israeli bombardments, leaving many orphaned, media reports revealed today.
Al-Amal orphanage in Gaza City, struggling with limited resources, provides support to help them cope. “Most of the orphans are facing uncertain future due to lack of resources to take care of huge number of children” Al-Amal officials said.

Many children require urgent mental health care as they suffer from trauma, depression and anxiety. Some are the sole survivors of their families. And with most health facilities destroyed, the wounded children lack proper medical care.
