A fresh surge in gold prices in Pakistan on Tuesday pushed rates to new record highs, raising concern among buyers and investors.
According to local market sources, the price of gold per tola increased by Rs4,300, reaching Rs493,662.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold rose by Rs3,686 to Rs423,235.
Global markets also witnessed an upward trend, with gold prices increasing by $43 per ounce to $4,713.
Silver prices also climbed, with per tola silver rising by Rs87 to Rs9,869.
Experts say fluctuations in the global market are directly impacting local bullion prices, driving both gold and silver to historic levels.
