ISLAMABAD: Government has decided to conduct child labour survey after 25 years as last child labour survey in Pakistan was conducted in 1996.
Senator Azam Swati told the Senate that last child labour survey was conducted in 1996. He added that government is also legislating for child protection.
During the session, Chairman Senate Sadiq Sanjrani inquired about absenteeism of ministers and said that only Senator Azam Swati was present. Opposition parties walked out of the house over absence of ministers.
