ISLAMABAD: Government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) is facing pressure as the Punjab government is unable to deliver, said Fawad Chaudhry, Federal Minister for Science and Technology.
According to details, Fawad Chaudhry criticized the Punjab in PTI core committee meeting held on Thursday (yesterday) and complained that districts are not getting the provincial National Finance Commission (NFC) Award.
He maintained that center – which is showing excellent performance – is facing criticism owing to Punjab. Only Rs 77 billion have been released out of Rs 350 billion development fund in the province, he added.
Prime Minister Imran Khan directed to immediately transfer funds to concerned districts under the provincial NFC Award over identification by the federal minister.
