Government to take action against officers who benefitted from BISP

ISLAMABAD: Government is firm to take stern action against the officers and their family members who were benefited from Benazir Income Support Program (BISP) for nine years

It was decided on jighest level to take action against the officers of BPS 17 to 21 who were among beneficiaries of BISP.

The figure reveals that some 2,543 officers have been ousted from the BISP list. Officials from Balochistan and Sindh received highest amounts through the programme.

Overall, three officers of grade 21 and 59 officers of grade 20 quarterly received the sum under the programme whereas 429 officials of grade 19 were also among the beneficiaries.

342 officers of grade 18 from Sindh and 1,240 officers of grade 17 overall derived advantages from the scheme.

 

According to sources, government in its letters to chief secretaries directs them to take against provincial officers.

Officers and their family members benefited from BISP for nine years.
