Govt introduces ease of doing business policy to encourage entrepreneurship: Vawda

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Water Resources, Faisal Vawda said that the government had introduced policy of ease of doing business to encourage entrepreneurship in the country.

Talking to the media, he said the government had started working for implementation of ease of doing business policy under which business culture would be promoted.

Answering a question regarding the circulation of negative news about the poor economic policies of the government, the minister said that such rumors were being circulated within the institutions by those officials inducted by the previous government.

He said unfortunately negative news were sold out more as compare to positive, adding that the positive information shared by him in a television program, was also being criticized.

He criticized the previous government for taking loan of around US $ 37 billion during last five years. He stated that the inflation had risen in the country due to the corruption, unemployment and money laundering.

He said that the direction of the government would be clear during next five weeks. “The government had to pay Rs 157 billion under gas expenses”, he said. (INP)
