KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Vice President and parliamentary party leader in Sindh Assembly Haleem Adil Sheikh has said that Prime Minister Imran Khan provided people a relief package of Rs1200billion, but the corrupt rulers of Sindh even devoured the funds for the poor people.
According to details, Haleem Adil Sheikh, PTI Karachi Division president Khuram Sher Zaman, MPA Dua Bhutto, PTI leader Imran Siddiqui, Aftab Qureshi, Yasir Baloch and others along with officers of PIA visited the Burns Ward of the Civil Hospital Karachi here Tuesday and inquired about the health of the injured girls in sad crash of PIA plane in Karachi. They announced that both the injured girls, Maria and Azeeza, would be given a compensation of Rs0.5million each, while the heirs of the girl Naheeda who had died due to her serious burn injuries would be given a compensation of Rs1million.
Talking to the media, the PTI Vice President said that we will compensate for the sad losses due to the plane crash. He said each and every affected person would be compensated. He requested the affected people to contact them and they would do their best to assist them.
Haleem Adil further said the government of Sindh itself in involved in issuance of fake domiciles. He said we will not allow any body to usurp the rights of our youths on the basis of fake domiciles. He said the Sindh Public Service Commission is involved in the murder of merit in theprovince. He said no any MNA is given special funds from the Prime Minister.
Talking about the sorry state of education in Sindh, he said in many government schools people have made pens for keeping buffaloes. He said the Sindh government is not working but just raising hue and cry in the name of coronavirus. He said the provincial rulers are spreading fear amongst the masses instead of serving them.
He said there are no basic facilities of healthcare and education in Sindh. He said corruption has marred all departments of Sindh government. He said the chief minister has become a conduit to transfer black money to the corrupt leaders of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP). He said that for long 12 years the finance department was being headed by Murad Ali Shah.
He said Prime Minister Imran Khan has given a package of Rs1200billion, but what the Sindh government has given to its citizens. It is giving hollow sermons to the poor people instead of giving food and ration to them. He said the Sindh health minister has virtually gone missing. He said even the Civil Hospital Karachi is facing immense problems. He said in the government hospitals of Sindh there is even no dog bite vaccine.
However, MPA Khuram Sher Zaman said that a compensation of Rs2million is given to the victim and injured of the plane crash incident. He regretted that the private hospitals are demanding money for the treatment of coronavirus patients. He said the health minister of Sindh is found nowhere, adding it is the responsibility of the government to give healthcare facilities to people. He asked till when the people of Sindh would continue to die of dog bites?
He said that medicines are not present in the government hospitals. He said even to get a patient admitted in the Civil Hospital Karachi it needs a lot of political approach. He asked why the government of Sindh has not opened isolation wards in hospitals of other districts. He said we had demanded to open markets during Eid season till midnight to reduce rush and ensure better social distancing but the Sindh government refused to listen to us.
Khuram Sher Zam said the chief minister is responsible for the rise in the number of Covid-19 cases, as his government failed to implement the SOPs. He said for last 12 years, the PPP is power in Sindh. He said people of Larkana are crying due to lack of basic facilities of life and what to speak about Karachi in this situation. He said people are facing problems in Sindh because the provincial government has failed to deliver.
