ISLAMABAD: Pakistani right-arm speedster Haris Rauf has been appointed an honorary Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) of the Islamabad police.
A ceremony was also held in honor of the right-arm pacer in the federal capital and it was attended by Inspector General of Police (IGP) – Islamabad Dr Akbar Nasir Khan and other officers.

During the ceremony, the capital police honored Haris Rauf with the rank of Deputy Superintended of Police (DSP).
Earlier, young pacer Naseem Shah was made honorary DSP by the Balochistan police while Shaheen Shah Afridi was honored with the same rank by the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police.
