Faesal, who was on his way to Istanbul from New Delhi, was stopped at Indira Gandhi International Airport on August 14 and was sent back to Srinagar where he was detained under the Public Safety Act.

Shah Faesal was raising voice against the recent lockdown in IOK, following the repealing of Article 370 and 35A from the Constitution which give special status to the valley. (INP)
