LAHORE: Punjab Minister for Health Dr. Yasmin Rashid inaugurated state-of-the-art Pediatric Unit II and 15-bed private rooms ward at Lahore General Hospital (LGH) on Tuesday.
Principal Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tayyab Medical Superintendent Dr. Mehmood Salah-ud-Din, doctors and other faculty members were also on the occasion.
Dr. Yasmin Rashid visited different departments and wards of the hospital and inquired about the patients after analyzing the medical facilities at the hospital.
Talking to media on the occasion, she said that more than 150 beds have been increased in gynea, pediatric ward and labour room to ease patients in General Hospital. She also appreciated the efforts of Principal Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tayyab and MS Dr. Mehmood Salah-ud-Din for establishing Pediatric Unit II.
The Health Minister said that Sahiwal DHQ Teaching Hospital is now attached with children hospital Lahore. Every serious case of Sahiwal DHQ Teaching Hospital will be referred to children Hospital Lahore. We all should perform keen role to make anti-polio campaign successful, she added.
