Body language is a very powerful tool. We had body language before we started speaking, and apparently, 80 percent of what we understand in a conversation is read through the body, not the words (Deborah Bull).

Our eyes play a crucial role in communication. It helps the opposite person feel more leisurely as he becomes receptive to your heart and your intentions after you become eye-to-eye with him.

Eye contact is an additional method to stay individuals curious about what you’re saying. Eyes are windows to the soul and individuals ought to keep eye contact with everybody throughout the presentation.

Apart from eyes, our face expressions also play a very important role. While maintaining our body language we should pay a large amount of attention to our face expressions. You just have to maintain balance between expressions and words.

A study has found that the foremost trustworthy face expression is a bit raising the eyebrows coupled with a small smile. This expression, the researchers believe, conveys impression of friendliness and confidence.

Researcher Paul Ekman has found support for the catholicity of a spread of facial expressions tied to specific emotions together with joy, anger, fear, surprise, and unhappiness. Facial expressions also are among the foremost universal varieties of visual communication, he believed.

Posture is also the important part of body language. How we have a tendency to hold our bodies may function a crucial a part of visual communication. The term posture refers to how we tend to hold our bodies and overall physical style of an individual. “Posture has such an enormous impact on the manner people understand you”, said Mary Helen Bowers.

Gestures are movements created with hands, arms, fingers, head, legs and that they could also be voluntary or involuntary. Arm gestures may be understood in many ways that in a very discussion, once one stands, sits or maybe walks with collapsible arms, it’s usually not a hospitable gesture.
