ISLAMABAD:Hundreds Pakistanis have approached Federal Ombudsman through complaints and sought assistance for their returns to Pakistan.
Most of them have been stranded in different countries due to sudden suspension of international flights operation to Pakistan.
Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis in Federal Ombudsman Hafiz Ahsaan Ahmad Khokhar in a press statement said that complaints of stranded Pakistanis have been received from USA, UK,Canada, South Africa, Indoneshia, Bahrin, Saudi-Arabia, Kawait, UAE, Australia, Bangkok, Masco , France , Spain and other countries.

Hafiz Ahsaan ahmad khokhar said that there are more than 4,000 passengers stranded at different places of world who have approached the office of federal ombudsman seeking assistance for their safe and early return to Pakistan. As per their complaints they are in trouble and even have no money now to meet their expenses .
Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis in Federal Ombudsman said that Ministry of Foreign Affairs , Ministry of Overseas Pakistanis and PIA Administration have been advised to provide assistance and to address the grievances of stranded Pakistanis who are in difficulties due to suspension of international flights operation .
Grievance Commissioner for Overseas Pakistanis in Federal Ombudsman said that some special flights have brought Pakistanis from few countries and a plan of transportation of remaining stranded Pakistanis have also been prepared to bring them through special flights .
