Improvement in Proposed Constitutional Amendment Required: Law Minister

ISLAMABAD: Law Minister Azam Nazeer Tarar has revealed that there was a requirement of some improvement in connection with the proposed draft in line with the constitutional amendment.

“We will look to take the parliament on board over the draft. I am optimistic that the good outcome will come in this regard. Good news will come from the masses”, the law minister said while talking on upcoming Constitutional Amendment.

“Qazi Faez Isa will be the chief justice of Pakistan till October 25. The senior most judge will be appointed as next chief justice of the country on October 26,” Tarar maintained.

Meanwhile, the Information Minister Attaullah Tarar on Wednesday lashed out at the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), saying that nobody will get NROs at all.

Expressing his thoughts, Tarar said: “The constitutional amendment is all about providing justice. The consultations are being made on the constitutional package on a large scale.”

He said: “The draft of the constitutional amendment has been handed over to the constitutional amendment.”

“The apex courts and constitutional courts are different from Pakistan. No verdict has been delivered until now over the events that transpired on May 9,” he said.
