India continue efforts to malign Kashmir freedom movement, notorious NIA raids 8 locations

ISLAMABAD: In a bid to further malign ongoing freedom movement of Kashmir and hoodwink the world opinion, the notorious Indian terror organization National Investigation Agency (NIA) today (on Tuesday) conducted raids under terror financing case at eight locations in Kashmir.

The raids were carried out by the NIA officials in Baramulla, Ganderbal, Kupwara, Pulwama and Shopian districts of Kashmir valley, the officials privy to the development told media persons, adding that raids are still underway while Kashmir Police and Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) are accompanying in raids at seven locations in Kashmir and one in Jammu.

The NIA officials on behest of the Modi regime are carrying out these raids at Shopian and Baramulla, among other areas. The places searched included the residences of the common people terming them as propertied linked with terror financing.

This is not for the first time that Indian occupational forces and its notorious NIA has  carried out the raids and attached properties of Kashmiri people to terrorize then, some tine ago the ancestral property of Mushtaq Zargar, a prominent Kashmir liberation leader, Mushtaq Ahmed Zargar (alias Latram), in Jamia Masjid Srinagar.

The two Marla house situated downtown of Srinagar and the property was linked with terror financing while the said house was built by forefathers of Mushtaq Zargar in the era of British Raj. The father of Mushtaq Zargar, Ghulam Rasool Zargar was a prominent and well decorated photographer and the attached house even built by his grandfather and it was property belonging to other siblings of Zargar.

The local residents in neighborhood told the media that the small house is of Zargar’s late father and now owned by his sisters and brothers who are facing the Indian state terrorism since decades. They said the attachment of house of this poor family is an act of terrorism, injustice and brutality by the occupation authorities.

This is an ample proof to Indian rulers’ frustration as they are fighting a lost war in Kashmir and they are using notorious tricks to hoodwink the world opinion.

Zargar’s property was attached in March under a case registered against Mushtaq Zargar under the black law Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA). The attachment order has been issued by the Indian Ministry of Home Affairs.

Mushtaq Zargar, is well known freedom fighter and founder and chief commander of mujahid organization Al Umar Mujahideen and has been demanding liberation from India. Over the years, he has been actively voicing for the right to self-determination of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.

The acrivity of Notorious NIA are still continue and goons of the agency are attaching properties of people of Kashmir who are demanding their right to self-determination guaranteed by the United Nations through its several resolutions.

The raids were conducted days after the central agency arrested an accused in the Pakistan-backed terrorism case involving the delivery of weapons through drones to militants active in Kashmir.

It was reliably learnt tha the notorious agency had shared the input on November 29 after a team from the NIA Jammu Branch nabbed 22-year-old namely Zakir Hussain of Kathua district on November 27.
