Islamabad High Court asks banks not to harass people on installments

ISLAMABAD: Islamabad High Court (IHC), Chief Justice, Athar Minallah, ordered banks not to harass citizens till the hearing of the case related to the installments of private banks is resolved.

The IHC CJ issued the remarks while hearing a petition seeking the suspension of private bank installments due to the ongoing coronavirus situation.

“This is not a problem of a single person but it is a collective problem,” remarked Justice Minallah. He directed the finance secretary to appoint an official to submit a report to the court.
