J. Salik urges govt to appointment official media correspondent in US prior PM’s visit: Washington

WASHINGTON:Convener World Minorities Alliance, a nominee for Nobel Peace Prize and former federal minister of Pakistan Julius Salik has demanded the government of Pakistan to appoint a permanent correspondent of Associated Press of Pakistan (APP) in Washington D.C. prior official visit of the Prime Minister Imran Khan to the United States.

In a statement on Tuesday, Julius Salik said that it was matter of grave concern that the government of Pakistan has failed to post any correspondent from official media in United States where media correspondents from all over the world were present to cover important daily events and activities.
