ISLAMABAD: Islamic month Jamadi-ul-Awwal, moon was sighted and first of the new Islamic month would be on Monday, today.
The Chairman of Central Ruet-i-Hilal Committee, Maulana Abdul Khabir Azad said that the Jamadi-ul-Awwal moon has been sighted and today Monday will be the first of the new Islamic month.
Addressing a press conference on Sunday, he said that sufficient evidence of sighting of crescent moon had been received from various areas of the country. First of Jamadi-ul-Awwal would be on Monday.
