Chairmain of KC-EU said, world major powers should intervene to stop the ongoing “communal violence” in India as it has risen recently, specially 200 million Muslims in India are being targeted by the fanatic elements backed by the Modi’s regime.

He said, what is happening in India is tragic and terrible. He said that Modi’s fascism is similar to the Nazism, Modi had conducted pogrom of Muslims in Gujarat as CM of that province and now Delhi is witness of the same situation. Media’s reports published about Muslims of India revealed that houses of the Muslims are being burnt, they are being beaten and killed. Mosques and graveyards are also being attacked and desecrated. The world community must accept this brutal reality of the Modi fascist racist regime and immediately prevent it.

Ali Raza Syed added, people of Kashmir are also being suffering for last seven decades and their hardships have been increased since August last year as India revoked special status of Jammu and Kashmir and imposed constant curfew on the oppressed people of Kashmir.

It is more than seven months; occupied Kashmir have been sieged by the Indian occupation forces and people of the occupied region have limited access to internet and other communication links which caused disconnection of the people with rest of the world. They are also facing shortage of food and medicine.

Chair of KC-EU specially asked European Union to raise issue of human rights specially violence against humanity in India and abuses of rights of the people of Jammu and Kashmir in their upcoming summit with Indian authorities.

It is important to mention that Kashmir Council Europe (KC-EU) has called the peace loving European people and Pakistanis and Kashmiris based in Europe to take part in the protest on arrival of Indian PM Modi in Brussels. Modi will arrive in the European headquarters for participation in India-EU summit on 13 March 2020.
