LAHORE: Kashmir solidarity rallies held across the Pakistan especially in Punjab, the series of various events to highlight the continued brutality by Indian Forces in occupied Kashmir being started and in this regard a Kashmir rally was held at Okara led by provincial minister for human rights and minority affairs Ijaz Alam Augustine on Saturday.
Rally was attended by local religious and political leaders of the Tehreek-e-Insaf, DC Okara Usman Ali, traders, representatives of civil society and large number of students from various educational institutions.
All the participants raised national flags and only slogan was echoing that Kashmir would become Pakistan.
Addressing the rally, provincial minister Ijaz Alam Augustine said that today all the Pakistani people are on the streets to express solidarity with their Kashmiri brothers and realized to the world that all the Pakistani nation stand with their Kashmiri brothers.
Later on talking to media, the minister said that worst example of continued violation of humanity has crossed more than 180 days and today much needed to stand all parties combine for the freedom of Kashmir.
He said that Punjab Government has issued order to all districts raised the voice of Kashmir rallies and different competition of speeches etc will be organized at all educational institutions while banners in favor of Kashmir will be placed on all major cities.
He said that entire Pakistani nation stands with its oppressed Kashmiri brothers. The Minister also urged on the civil society to attend rallies, etc to show fully solidarity among Kashmiris. Other leaders also expressed their sentiments and strongly condemned the aggression by the Indian army in occupied Kashmir and assured the public to perform serious efforts for the freedom of occupied Kashmir under the visionary leadership of Imran Khan.
