KP Chief Minister invites protesting doctors for talks

PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhawa (KP) Chief Minister Mahmood Khan on Monday invited protesting doctors for talks saying that doors are open for dialogue.

While addressing a poultry farming related ceremony in Peshawar, Mahmood Khan said that his government will support agriculture-related households.

He said, “When PM Imran Khan talked about small damns, opposition made fun of him. Even when he talked about initiating poultry related projects, he was mocked. But Imran Khan has vision which his opponents lack.”

Criticizing the opposition, the CM (KP) said that they have done nothing except plundering national wealth. The CM added that his government inherited the worst economic conditions.

“Prime Minister and his team are doing well. Things need time to progress,” he added.

CM further stated that more than 100 billion will be spent on the agricultural sector. “We are an agricultural country; therefore, we need to develop this sector,” he added.

Warning the JUI-F Chief Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman, he said that his party should not make matters worse.

“People have seen the power of JUI yesterday. They have to wait as even next five years are of PTI,” he said. (With additional input from INP)
