PESHAWAR: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government is spending Rs 22 billion (twenty-two billion rupees) for quality education purpose in the newly merged districts of the province.
This was stated by a spokesman of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Government while talking to media on Saturday.
He said four thousand five hundred teachers are being recruited to overcome shortage of teaching staff in these districts.
Similarly, missing facilities have been provided in thousands of schools, including solarization, provision of furniture and stationery and construction of additional classroom and boundary walls.
The spokesman said the provincial government is also providing monthly stipend to girl students in tribal districts to encourage female education.
