KARACHI: One laborer was killed and another injured in firing of armed motorcyclists on an under construction building in the Karachi provincial metropolis, police said.
According to details, armed culprits over non-payment of extortion money sprayed bullets at an under construction building in Patel Para area of Jamshed Quarter in Karachi.
As a result of firing, 55-year-old laborer Rafique Wali was killed on the spot while 32-year-old Yousaf son of Abdul Shakoor sustained bullet wounds.
The body and injured were shifted to hospital for medico-legal formalities.
The police cordoned off the area after the attack and conducted search operation for the attackers.
Meanwhile, a case was registered against the extortionists and investigation was underway.
