KARACHI: Labourers working on Karachi Port Trust (KPT) on Friday staged protest over shifting of the soybean laden US ship ‘Hercules’.
The labourers unions brought out a rally from the head office of Karachi Port Trust wherein they recorded their protest against the transfer of the ship.

They said that the shifting of the ship has closed their employment opportunity while the protesters closed the road leading to the port which hampered the traffic flow.
It is pertinent to mention here that as many as 14 people have lost their lives and 400 others effected from the poisonous gas spread from the soybean laden ship from last Sunday to Wednesday.
