LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister’s spokesperson Dr. Shahbaz Gill has said that the government has no connection with the arrest of vice-president Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Maryam Nawaz by National Accountability Bureau (NAB)
Commenting on the arrest of Maryam Nawaz here on Thursday, Shahbaz Gill said that the NAB is a free and an independent institution and it arrested Maryam Nawaz over not cooperating with the anti-graft body.

He clarified that the incumbent government has no role in the arrest of the daughter of ex-premier Nawaz Sharif. (INP/LK/SB)
