LAHORE: Lahore Literary Festival (LLF) 2020 opened on Friday with Qawalli performance by Saami Brothers.
At opening ceremony Razi Ahmed, CEO LLF spoke about the efforts in nuturing students, authors and books.
Aziz Boolani, CEO Serena Hotels appreciated the efforts of LLF in promoting Pakistan’s rich culture which will also help Pakistan steering tourism.
He said Serena Hotel is playing a vital role in cultural diplomacy and highlighted the initiatives related to Satrang art gallery and Sarangi music initiative.
Orhan Pamuk thanked the people of Pakistan for the great hospitality and appreciated the efforts of LLF for the last 8 years.
An exclusive talk was also held at the opening ceremony ‘My name is Red’ by Orhan Pamuk which delighted the audience. Approx 500 people participated at the opening ceremony.
