KARACHI: Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) Sindh leader and head of Baitul Mal Hunaid Lakhani has alleged that the policies and decisions of the Sindh government are weird, and now after devastating the rural Sindh, it is bent to ruin the mega city, Karachi.
Talking to media in his office here Tuesday, he said the provincial government of Sindh has failed to provide the masses basic facilities of life like healthcare, education and public transport.
He said the universities in whole Sindh are closed, while the universities in other provinces are open and working.
Hunaid Lakhani said there is no facility of public transport. “Poverty is rising sharply in Sindh, and in many areas of the province a large number of poor children sleep hungry” he said.
According to him hundreds of thousands poor children walk barefooted.
Poor parents are now compelled to sell their children, because they are unable to feed the, he said.
The country is passing through a tough time due to the corruption and bad governance of the previous regimes, he added.

He said Murad Ali Shah also works for the vested interests of Zardari. The PTI Sindh leader said presently the citizens of mega city are braving a grave agony. The city faced a sad air crash but proper DNA testing facilities are not present here.
Lakhani said corruption is everywhere and bad governance can be found in each and every department.
He claimed that many government schools in Sindh have already been turned into cattle pens, while the corrupt rulers devour billions of rupees from the budget in the name of education.
Lakhani said the Sindh government is so heartless that corruption is even made in the funds for healthcare of innocent children.
“Sain Sarkar is acting brilliantly during the lockdown by pressing hands together in a Namaste style. It has no ration to offer to the poor but a lot of rhetoric, sermons and lip service” PTI leader remarked.
The PTI Sindh leader said that he himself has witnessed the sad state of affairs of government school during his visit to Thatta and Sakro.
He said in some Goths and citizens are compelled to drink such a contaminated water which is not even safe for the drinking of animals.
