MAKKAH:Lost and Found Cell of the Ministry of Religious Affairs is doing a marvelous job in recovering and handing over valuables and other lost things of Pakistani pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.
Radio Pakistan’s Correspondent Muhammad Akram Khan reports from Makkah that a cash of about 6600 riyals, along with thousands of Pakistani rupees, important documents, and other belongings of Pakistani pilgrims have so far been recovered and handed over to their owners.
Hajj Movineen have been working very honestly and diligently in helping the pilgrims. Staff of the Lost and Found section performs its duty round the clock in Makkah and Medina and it also remains in contact with authorities concerned at Jeddah Airport.
Lost and Found cell feels difficulties in tracing a lost luggage and handing it over to the real owner if there is no identity inscribed on the baggage. Hence, it is advisable that pilgrims should necessarily write down their particulars, including contact number, on their luggage so that it can be identified if lost.(RP)
