ISLAMABAD: The government has set up Machine Readable Passport (MRP) facility at the head office of Overseas Pakistanis Foundation (OPF) in Islamabad.
OPF in a press statement on Friday said, the initiative will facilitate overseas Pakistanis and their family members to apply and renew their passports.
The government of Pakistan accords top priority to the overseas Pakistanis and is keen to provide enhanced facilities with improved service delivery, the statement said.
With the establishment of MRP facility, the overseas Pakistanis will now be able to apply and renew their passports in addition to the existing facilities provided by OPF, which includes: OPF Membership Card, Foreign Exchange Remittance Card (FERC), NADRA Swift Center and Complaint Resolution System.
