CHAKWAL: At least one person was killed and four others injured in firing of armed men over land dispute here on Sunday, police said.
According to details, armed men sprayed bullets at five members of rival groups with whom they were in dispute over peice of land in Rupwal area of Chakwal.
As a result of firing, one person identified as Muhammad Farooq 50, was killed while four others including Bashir Ahmed son of Abdul Rehman, Muhammad Akbar son of Ghulam Muhammad, Muhammad Razzaq son of Ghulam Muhammad and Muhammad Ashraf were critically injured.
The body and injured were shifted to DHQ Hospital and police after registering a case against culprits started investigation.
