SIALKOT: Market cum shopping mall will be established near Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur to facilitate Sikh Yatrees (pilgrims) reaching there from India through the Corridor, also enabling them to buy the fast food items, Pakistani delicious meals, eatables, daily used commodities, money changing, cloths, garments and gifts from there.
A rush of the Sikh Yatrees could be witnessed there busy in shopping there as well.
Several Sikhs said that they were the fond of the “Lahori Pakoras” and “Kasuri Ladu” on sale there due to unique taste as well, while, the female Sikh pilgrims were showing keen interest in purchasing Punjabi Dopattas, warm shawls and ladies Chappals available there.
Some Sikhs said that first they had come here for the “Darshan” of the Gurdwara Darbar Sahib Kartarpur and now they have again here to buy these favorite and delicious Lahori Pakoras and Kasuri Ladu. They said that there was no doubt to say that Indian Pakoras and Ladus were also famous for their taste. They said that the taste of the Lahore Pakoras and Kasuri Ladus were also very tasty, delicious and unique in taste.
Local shopkeeper Muhammad Aslam said that daily the Sikh Yatrees purchase about two to three mounds these Lahore Pakoras from his shop, which were on sale at the rate of Rs.500 per KG there.
Several Sikh said that all the things available at this market-cum-shopping mall were also available in Amritsar, Haryana and other Indian cities , but these Pakistani items were high in quality and Cheap in prices. Thus, they buys these things from Kartarpur-Pakistan to present them as gifts to their relatives and friends in India.
