LAHORE: Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) spokesperson Marriyum Aurangzeb has on Saturday demanded release of Leader of the Opposition in the Punjab Assembly Hamza Shahbaz.
The PML-N leader said in her statement that the flour and sugar mafia has kept Hamza Shahbaz, who has appeared in more than 50 hearings of the fake money laundering case, in jail to hide their illegal activities.
Marriyum Aurangzeb stressed that government does not have any witness or evidence against Hamza Shahbaz.

Marriyum Aurangzeb further said that PML-N President and Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly is also being politically victimized in worst possible way.
On the other hand, National Accountability Bureau (NAB) has rejected some media reports about Hamza Shahbaz.
According to the press release, NAB said that The solid evidence, statements of witnesses and necessary documents would be presented before the relevant respected accountability court Lahore and the law will take its own course of action.
Regarding Hamza Shahbaz’s innocence, the Honourable Lahore High Court has already rejected the bail application of Hamza Shahbaz
The Honorable court is the relevant authority to decide about the innocence of Hamza Shahbaz as per law.
The people propagating about innocence of Hamza Shahbaz in media should better appear before the Respected Accountability court Lahore and plead his innocence there as defense witness.
NAB would continue performing its national duties without caring about threat, browbeating and baseless propaganda campaign as per law.
