LAHORE: Maryam Nawaz Sharif, Senior Vice President and chief organizer of Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) has clarified that if it is being deduced that Nawaz Sharif is avoiding politics by not accepting the post of Prime Minister, then there is no truth in it.
“In the next 5 years, he will not only do vigorous politics but will patronize his governments in the Federation and Punjab, Inshallah,” she said.
PML-N also posted on X, formerly known as Twitter, and said: “Main sb changed Pakistan. For the masses, he has sacrificed, struggled, and fought. The N in PML-N is for Nawaz Sharif. He is irreplaceable.”
Maryam Nawaz’s statement came the next day after the proposed coalition government announced Shehbaz Sharif as a candidate for prime minister candidate, contrary to the PMLN political slogan of the narrative ‘Pakistan Ko Nawaz Do.”
