MUZAFFARABAD: Chief Secretary Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) Mathar Niaz Rana has said that the media should highlight the good steps of government for welfare of people and development of the state.
Talking to a delegation of journalists of Jhelum Valley which called on him in Muzaffarabad on Thursday, Mathar Niaz Rana said that the government highly values the role of media and was committed for resolving the problems faced by the media persons.
The delegation apprised the Chief Secretary about problems faced by journalist community in Jhelum Valley.
He assured that funds will be allocated in the next budget for construction of building of Hattian Bala press club.
Mathar Niaz Rana directed to Director General Information and Commissioner Muzaffarabad to take steps for construction of press club building at Hattian.(INP)
